THE MONTESAS Authentic 60's band from Kassel in Germany. Amazing line-up around Marcel Bontempi with two absolutely lovely (and sexy!) girls (The Montesitas) on vocals (and show!), as well as a fantastic line-up (Cheeks' bass player Pille + necessary drums and organ)! They play 60's beat with fun-fun-fun, as well as genuine 50's rock'n'roll, gospels, movie exotica and more originals!
SOUND EXPLOSION Someone had to study the Greek mythology at school. Someone else will remember the Pollon cartoons (". it seems talc but it is not.. it cheers you up"!, do you remember?) and someone has learned IT with the Thanes Or with the Sound Explosion (not to confuse with the Doctor Explosion). They come from Athens and since ‘90s they have been one of the peak bands on the Greek scene, in fact a volume devoted to them was published for the series “Teen Trash” by Music Maniac 100% Pebbles Sound & Olympia Shake!
THE MOVEMENT Class War Unity 100% Anti-Fascist: The Movement is the power-trio from Copenhagen/Denmark everybody's talking about. They play mod (to me they're the Jam of today!... one of my fave bands of all times!!!) with elements of punkrock and ska. They're ultra powerful on stage and play like gods. The Movement are extremely concerned by political issues and very active, as you'll see from their site and lyrics. The Movement are also very sympathic young men with the guy of the Muppet show at the drums. The Movement is a well dressed band who always wears suits, they know the old mod-slogan: "clean living under difficult circumstances".
LES DRAGUEURS That's super entertaining "Garage Punk meets 60's French Beat" with US Rip Off's Jon Von at the vocals! The right music to improve flirting skills...

Jonas Roden on bass, the guy who can associate being square and cool at the same time. He's also got the specification of being Michael Rodeo's little cousin. And singer / guitar hero Lukas (who also plays with Concordes) could make Tokyo Sex Desctruction drastically fade... enough spoken, if I'd reduce their music in a few words, I'd say that'd be probably a fine mix between the Jet Bumpers (of course), New Bomb Turks and actually much more than that... 1-2-3-4, let's go! (wasn't that a little bit too much sleazy? family connections... hey hey!)

Twist, jerk, yé-yé, mashed potatoes, French garage, hully-gully: SHEETAH ET LES WEISSMULLER are super kind Frenchies (yes!) from Lille with a fantastic sense of humour, a charismatic singer and an unbelievable stage presence (all of them!) For the moment, most of their repertoire consist on ultra cool 60's beat cover versions (from Mouse & The Trap over Ronny Bird, Les 5 Gentlemen, Les Lutins, Gainsbourg, etc) but they also play e.g. Chien Méchant, an own very much dutronc-like song with lots of fuzz, organ and definitely a hit! On stage, two sexy guys alternate on drums and bongos. Conclusion: Party, party, party! (attention: the site is all in French but written, it is similar to English...)
Everything you always wanted to know 'bout the SONIC DOLLS, one of our fave poppypunkypowerpoppy bands ever! They're young, they're pretty, they're sexy and they kick out the jams you motherfucker.
